By the end of our unique two week barge and bike tour "Discover the Delta" you will have discovered the meaning behind this saying.
As a special bonus to our outstanding itinerary, during which you will get to experience many historic, picturesque and fascinating Dutch cities and towns.
And unlike other bike-barge tours, "Discover the Delta" will have two experienced, bi-lingual guides, so riders can choose whether to take a longer or a shorter route each day.
Of course if you feel a need for a 'rest day' you always have the option of remaining on the barge to view the beautiful Dutch countryside from a relaxing chair on the deck.

The 15 day, 14 night stay is on the Qou Vadis
TheQuo Vadis provides wonderful ambiance. Each couple will have a comfortable room with twin beds and ensuite bathrooms
(including shower, sink and WC).
We pride ourselves on our excellent food, including three course dinners, ample buffet (hot and cold) breakfasts, pack-along lunches and daily towel replacement.

Comfortable, well maintained, 7 speed bikes, suitable for the mostly flat terrain are included in the tour price.
"Discover the Delta" begins and ends in wonderful Amsterdam.
In between you will see many of the splendidly preserved towns that developed during the Golden Age of the Netherlands, which spanned parts of the 16th and 17th centuries.
As the canals and rivers bring the barge into or near the city centers, you will have the opportunity each evening after dinner to explore the town and to get an upclose look at the unique Dutch architecture.

Another highlight is a visit to the incredible engineering marvel, the Delta Water Works, which protects the Netherlands against deadly flooding from the North Sea into the powerful Rhine, Maas and Waal Rivers.
